Technical Data: Vintage: 1999. Denomination de Origin: D.O.Ca. Rioja. Type: Red. Alcohol content: 12,5% Vol. Grape varieties: 70% Tempranillo, 30% Garnacha & 10% Mochuelo / Graciano. Grape source: The Rioja Alta Region. Sweetness index: Reserva : 2 g/l. Dry. Production method: After a careful fermentation, under temperature controlled conditions, never exceeding 28ºC, the wine is kept in vats for a period of 12 months in order to be fully stabilised. Then it is aged in oak casks for a period of around 36 months, depending on the particular vintage and the type of wine. Finally, the wine is filtered and bottled to further develop prior to their release. Maturation site: Cenicero. Type of oak casks: Part of the first year in new oak, rest of the time in casks with an average age 6 years. Tasting comments: The Reserva is round and full, meaty, well balanced, aromatic and with a lingering after-taste.
